Texas chicken is great. KFC don't even have fries on their GRAB menu anymore.

I only eat fried Chicken like this maybe once every 6 or 8 weeks but they get my business every time now.
They have 2 branches in Laos. A country not known for fast food .or fast anything. Its owned by RM Asia. Who are into all sorts of shit. Indians i think?. Anyway it seemed hugely popular there. No idea how its going now as ive been gone a year

I don't buy Texas anything , here or in Thailand, all of them a bunch of inbred secessionists if you ask me.
I would like some crispy Freedom chicken though.

Texas chicken is better than KFC which is just a touch above mediocre. Their American style biscuits are really good. I wish the wife would learn to make biscuits like that.

haven't tried it yet, but looks good, (Thank god I don't have the fat gene, or I would be a porker, I love to eat, and cook) one of these days maybe I will try it. but below is a recipe of KFC biscuits.

Looks good. I like the spicy versions. Probably extremely unhealthy.

^^ You misjudged that a bit Joe, nearly had some overflow.

You should have used a side plate for the poppadom, then you could have centralised the curry on your plate better.

Very lucky by the looks of things.

This time the late finishing meeting was on Microsoft Teams. Life is thrilling these days. Opted for Japanese (of sorts) tonight with a local beer.

    Bollocks.

The Asian taste tailored KFC shit you get in Thailand with the spicy cornflakes yeah, but not the KFC that Ray and his brothers love or the juicy uncrispy shit we get here in the UK.

Theres a ChickenTuesday in the UK KFC's like the States now too. 6 quid for 9 pieces.
    Winner winner, chicken...

I combined a couple of BCC pork&cider hotpot recipes to end up with this:

    Dinner-pork_cider-jpg

Pork in cider with parsnips and leeks and topped with a layer of potatoes. I had some Irish and some French dry cider and after a quick tasting decided to cook with the French and drink the Irish.

Quite pleasant and a nice change...
