If on loaf bread, slicing is appropriate. If on a bun or such, slicing is hearsay.

Can't say I'm that strict about it. If you need to slice, then slice...uf you don't, then don't.

Totally unremarkable and repetitive but still a great way to start a Sunday, and by posting pics it hopefully makes others want to post too (not you Chitty).

That bun looks like a proper softie.

I had chicken curry with roti for breakfast when I got home at 4am

At 4.00 in the morning I have a choice of Lasagne, Chilli Con Carne, Butter chicken, Madras Chicken, Vindaloo Chicken, Pork Spare Ribs, Spring Rolls, Pizzas, Pies, Sausage Rolls or Cornish Pasties.

It's a hard life and I am glad I am doing it!

Funnily enough, aside from the lasagne, madras and the Cornish pasties I have all of those in stock too.

Life is a struggle, I can never decide what to eat!

Full breakfast this morning. No pics, but went for tinned toms in the absence of the esteemed baked beans.

Yesterday was bacon, sausage and egg on a soft sub.

Brown sauce both days, obviously, although I also had a dash of Colmans this morning on the side too. Pushing the boat out.

Well, I wouldn't want to disappoint you as I know how you Americans love your baked beans - and how much you personally love the look of the world's greatest breakfast - so here's one off the Internet!

Yeah, it was meant as a joke to JP, Willy.

I'll aim to do better next time though. Promise.

That's great if you're rolling home at that time.

Otherwise I'd rather some crunchy nut cornflakes

Feel like a 3 egg omelette with ham, cheese, 'shrooms, onion, and peppers, but don't have the skills to make a good one yourself? Let someone who knows what they're doing cook you one then

^ You could have just called me HW... I can cobble together a half decent omelette!

Sadly I have porridge for breakfast on weekdays to combat cholesterol but I let my hair down last weekend.

I didn't need the Jenga method either.

Post a pic then! Seriously, I can't get a plain omelette right with any confidence using nothing more than eggs cheese and butter, and when other ingredients like ham and veggies are involved it's a guaranteed cluster-fuck every time

    Single layer only though!

Let's see how you tackle a tiered breakfast sanga or roll with 4 levels...

I can't really... I always seem to burn the outside of omelettes.

Here's one the wife made a few days ago. She seems to be a pretty good cook when she puts her mind to it.

I like the way she hides the magic mushrooms inside, very creative.

^ Yeah, that was a bit odd.

But it made it last longer!
