Well done on the home made buns. I prefer the Philippine Pandesal. (soft white bread rolls) produced by a local bakery. Perfect for Bacon, Egg, Sausage and Tomato, home made breakfast rolls. They are simply the BEST.

    Sometimes subs are better.

3 egg omelette infused with black pepper, Garam Masala, turmeric, curry powder and celery salt on home baked white French. Salt, pepper and Frank’s on top.

    Nae bad.

Indeed, loved having pandesal straight from the bakers oven in the morning, used to put Butter and vegemite on them much to the horror of filipino colleagues

My first introduction to Asia was a hotel in Singapore around 25 years ago and I still remember the 'No Durian' sign in the lift. I assumed that 'Durian' was a local name for Ladies of the Night. I'd never heard of it before.

    I love the stuff.

Awful stuff. My description is that it tastes like inside of a rotting dustbin (I imagine).

The smell doesn't bother me, but it doesn't even tastes like a fruit!

Of course, our very own human dustbin, my dad, it said it was ok when I introduced it to him in Malaysia.

There is sooooooooooooo much excellent tropical fruit. Why bother with this shit?

You eat the durian and I'll stick to the ya dong. How does that sound?
