Had some eggs and black pudding to use up, unconventional admittedly but a 4 egg omelette and two slices went down alright. Thank God i never had left over rice.

I'm in Bangkok just now... bad timing I know, but need to get some stuff done. All finished at the Aussie embassy by 10am and discovered that fortunately The Robin Hood on Sukhumvit is a restaurant, not a pub, and so is open!

First an all day breakfast and now an excellent opportunity to test the theory that draught cider protects against COVID-19!

I'm on me phone so can't do pics, but imagine a pint glass with 'Thatchers' written on, full of a glorious golden-coloured fluid!

What kind of a 1990s backarsewards phone do you have! No camera? Shesh!

My youngest daughter is the only one who eats meat more often than not and she made me bacon and eggs on toast (fried in the bacon grease) for my first 14-day self-isolation breakfast.

Keerist, bacon is good . . . unfortunately I can still do the garden and pool-work while i self-isolation.

^ It's rustique, you philistine! Lovingly hand-kilned by artisans who learned the craft from previous generations for millennia in the Provence . . . using natural colours squeezed from flowers grown in fields untouched by chemical fertiliser

They are very nice, I would buy a set like that given the opportunity.

Or maybe I should wait, if I get married again, to a man, it's likely to be a wedding gift...

    (But, seriously, they are nice.)

And they're made in China. Hand-painted, it says
(probably by Muslim child labor in their 're-education' camps

(This is the set we use for bbqs as we don't share dishes at the moment)

I must say the crockery and view deflect one from the abomination residing on the plate.
    Is that Omelette on toast?
