If it is bacon, did you cook it before adding it to the eggs?

Huevos pericos (excellent), an arepa (as dry and tasteless as ever), a sweet bread roll (average) with some jam and butter. Beverages consisting of a piss weak coffee together with a fresh mango juice. Fresh fruit to finish and a pleasant view across the plains.

    7/10 all in.

It's a mystery to me why Colombia, one of the world's great coffee bean exporters, makes it hard to find a good cuppa.

Prices really. It's an export crop (75% is sent abroad) and most locals can't afford to buy it, so they drink tinto.

I pay the same for beans as I would do at home in the UK for stuff that's produced 40 kms down the road!

(I'm told that) it's very easy to find, but that quality can also vary greatly. I've also been told that it can be found for less than the price of a pint at home.

A wise old man once told me "if it ain't broke leave it alone."
Nothing like smoked bacon and a cup of Champee coffee from the Bolaven Plateau.

    Cheers, fish

Yes, they are on sale 97 cents each. I figured why not a little pineapple and pom juice. With what I plan on pumping through my kidney later I figured this can't hurt.

Gotta run. I have to pick up a bottle of groceries before it gets dark.

    Cheers, fishy.
