Pad krapow Gai hangover bustin' pizza
^Pizza for breakfast?. Why not .
Had a lovely 99 Baht brekkie with coffee, for about the 100th time. Can't beat it.
Some essential reading, an open fire and of course the Full Monty to warm me up on a cold and frosty morning
Onit like a car bonnet
Did you glue that stuff to the table to stop it falling off ? Is it one of those plastic breakfasts like they have in some places in Thailand ?
I had the misfortune of having a weatherspoons breakfast. I know this will upset people, but it is dreadful and not worth the pennies you pay for it. Each single item on the plate has been systematically cost cut to the point of it basically being chemically enhanced slop. Sausages are the factory cooked and warmed up in the "pub" variety which is simply not on. You even get better bread in 7/11 in Thailand than the shit they use. It is dreadful and I would guarantee that with in a 10 minute walk or drive from there there is a local independent pushing out massively better fare for the same or similar price.
Boycott weatherspoons. They are the devils work.
More like brunch really, but felt like a prawn/lettuce/secret sauce roll this morning. So off to the Naklua markets we go.
Owed an English mate 248.05 Baht, so I bought 1 of these that didn't look good to drop off at his place with a note attached saying here's that sick squid I owe you
^ looks lime he's waiting for someone to ask about the secret sauce too
^Top of the bread roll was smothered in it .
Still got some left, and some prawns too, and they're going down a treat after a few bevvies this evening.
That secret sauce looks like ketchup and mayo mixed
You'd be totally right on that, but with some S&P, Worcestershire, lemon juice, and Tobasco added too. Haven't bought seafood cocktail sauce in many years
I'm sure you've gorged yourself at the Mantra Sunday brunch buffet before, if you ever figure out what they're adding to their secret sauce at the Seafood station please let me know. Whiskey?. Cognac?. There's something in there that makes it so much better.
I do know the chef who used to work there. I will find out for you
Mrs. Q's latest endeavor (with Hello Kitty looking down with benign approval). We were out of English Muffins, so she used French bread! The omelet has mushrooms, onions, tomatoes, ham and cheese.
She doesn't happen to work in Bier Stube along the moat in CM does she?
