Yes, just pay for the required additional dobs of butter. I don't expect them to make a loss on there food , butter, dairy products. That sort of thing are expensive in the provinces. Or used to be?

The worst is when the butter is served almost frozen from the fridge, but the toast has cooled past the thermal melting point and thus cannot melt it.
