A sort of frittata I make for breakfast 4-5 times a week. Chopped mushrooms and sliced ham are sauteed in olive oil with some dried thyme, garlic powder, red shallot powder and pepper. Then add two beaten eggs with salt. Place six pieces of vintage cheese on the top, cover and leave on a mild heat for 6-8 minutes. Uncover and added fresh cracked pepper. Turn off the heat and leave for two more minutes. Slide onto the plate and enjoy with a second cup of hot strong coffee. Great brekky when you are on a low carb diet.

A nice looking bit of gossamer latex, fish. The vein effect is impressive too. Top notch food porn.

Well I guess it could be...different strokes and all. Seems like more of an appetizer to me.

I had two Marks and Spencer mince pies for my breakfast as we had bought too many. Their sultanas are bigger than other makers. Tomorrow I will be having Aldi mince pies. Next week, almost certainly Lidl mince pies. My cup runneth over. Can't get any of these in Thailand ? Tough titty !

If you have an oven, mince pies are available to you, everywhere.

Your prawns elsewhere looked great, but if I had to eat that for breakfast I'd be making sure I missed my flight at Heathrow every time we went home. In fact, I'd probably be sabotaging the plane .

A snapshot of such an enviable life.

I suppose you and the family will spend New Year ensconced in luxury at Nana Hotel again?

I never quite get that 'home made in a cafe' thing.

Hash browns were bought frozen, surely?

Do they make their own sausages? Cure their own bacon?

    Odd claim.
