How about a toasted bacon sandwich with BBQ sauce.

    Oh yes please, papaa.

Walks into the kitchen mid bacon fry and declares 'Ohhh, this smells like heaven'.

I haven't been this proud since she was caught faking my signature.

I ran out of black pudding yesterday, but the greatest breakfast in the world (with seppo-style bacon) powers on regardless!

What's with the Manc sticker on the laptop?

Does it get you a wider berth in the departure lounge?

It's not mine. My mum bought a load of stickers and t-shirts for my missus after the bombings at the Arena a few years ago.

Believe me, it's not like I need to advertise it with my accent, 10 to 2 feet and your stolen hubcaps in my bag.

At least you haven't gone the chicken sausage route, the Thai fried egg is noted

An English couple here do proper sausages; I get a load delivered once every few months. I refuse to eat any "sausage" made from chicken. I'm just missing a supplier of smoked English bacon and black pudding really.

I see your expert eye picked up on the Asian egg- green owed. My missus cooked the whole brekky when I was on the way back from the gym (note the way she's perfectly arranged everything on the plate too).

I was gonna say it looks like one you've bought outside. A reasonable stab for Malaysia at a western brekky.

My personal bugbear is the "toast" they usually leave in the toaster for about 7 seconds. Fucking toast the thing properly!

It was sour dough toast, very decent.

    Definitely bought outside.

End of this month a new English Pub is opening up down the road, the chef has promised proper bacon and sausages but didn’t much seem interested in supplying black pudding with it cos ‘nobody will eat it here’.

It there will be proper fish n chips with mushie peas

I've got some English mustard in the fridge, but I'm down to probably one tablespoon in total, so I gave it a swerve for the ham I have.

The only acceptable condiments on a cooked breakfast are brown sauce and English mustard.

I used to get my stuff from Cold Storage. They used to have bacon and sausages in from the UK/US.

Have you tried there or the Chinese-owned place on Jalan Ampang in KL?

BIG has excellent bacon and ok sausages. Haven’t tried cold storage. Actually, maybe I have but got distracted at the beer selection instead.

Jaya and Farmers Market also good.

    I finally got some grits.

I quickly realised that this is tasteless boring shit as I was making it so I added a cup of grated cheddar and 2 tablespoons of salt then more cheddar on top.

    It’s edible now.

Fucking American poverty food, just like baked beans. It is really only eaten in the southern states, I personally would never eat it.
