I'm afraid my lasagna cooking efforts were so bad even I struggled to eat it...have not tried again for 20+ years. Don't fry or poach eggs well either and let's not talk about the creamy rice debacles of the 1990s. Regards, -BiP

No pix to prove it, but I had microwaved homemade lasagna and peas with my morning cuppa. I wasn't hungry last night and it was just sitting there in the fridge...

Is this the right thread or should I have posted this in "Bloke's Cookery"?

Spot on HNZ, i was tempted to post up my left over curry i had instead of cereal. Cyrille may correct me, but breakfast is a time not a food type.

Yeah that's about the last time I fucked one up too, then finally accepted that it's a dish best left to people who make it daily for a living.

Surprised someone of your kitchen skills isn't confident around a fried egg, but can relate to the poached egg issue (like lasagne, best left to the experts )

Have given these snags a plug before but will again anyway and say if you see them for sale, buy some! About 160 Baht a pack and I'd gladly pay a lot more.

    Butter on a bacon sarney.

You always manage to turn the unhealthiness up to 11.

^ You trying to butter me up Simples. Up before the birds Simple, usually am. BTW nobody dumped me, she dumped the kids but then with your one relationship, losing your virginity in your late 20's and never having known what it is to bring up kids, forgive me for saying but there are 12 YO hormonal boys who are better able to judge relationships than you.

Have to agree with this. That butter is essential.

It is not even that it magically becomes "healthy" if you skip it.

You can go half way with one of those cholesterol lowering spreads but i agree with Armstrong there has to be butter and a choice of red or brown sauce

^^I might have agreed in 1975.

No, it doesn't become magically healthy without butter.

The point is that it's already unhealthy enough, but worth it because it's so good.

Don't you have a heart condition?

(And sorry, slingshit, but you're just too transparently trying to slingshit to bother with. Even now in one of your rare sober...ish moments )

So...just how many advocates of bacon sarnies with butter are there (left) here?
