    Finally!

I've never understood why muesli makers can't put those nasty little raisins and sultanas in a separate bag to save people spending ages picking them out.

Today I tried a new granola from Makro and these seed things were in separate bags... it took me less than a minute to add them to the rest of the cereal. 'Diamond Grains' will get my custom from now on for being so forward thinking. There was no dried fruit either.

Surely this is the way to go?

Mendip, seeds apart the main constituent is oats, you could mix up you own and probably save a few THB

Made damper for the first time and lathered my two pieces with butter and Golden Syrup (got it online a couple of weeks ago). Was alright, Probably more than 40 years since I had Golden Syrup. The wife had it on her half piece and said she liked it but then put condensed milk on the other. If it wasn't for the land, house, car, business, dogs and the larger balance bank account being in her name......

Yum, it's probably been 40 years since I ate damper also. I know what I will be cooking next. (but I might add strawberries and cream instead)

^ Had to find out what a damper was.

"Damper is a traditional Australian soda bread, historically prepared by early settlers, swagmen, drovers, stockmen and other travellers."

I take it you gentlemen fall into one of those categories above?

Think I'd qualify as an unsophisticated Aussie.

    I love my bread.

In fact I once said to a girlfriend in Perth, 'I wish you were damper'.

Breakfast this morning featured a reheated (leftover from yesterday lunch) ham, cheese and garlic butter potato cake served on fried eggs infused with chopped ham and topped with a sprinkle each of grated mozzarella, Italian herbs, fresh ground pepper and Himalayan salt. A couple of dabs of BBQ sauce made it edible and closer to perfection.

One poster laughing, one poster saying you're on the wrong thread and one poster posting about his own breakfast is...three bites?

Starting to wonder if you've actually had a single guest at that place yet.

Our 916th-923rd booked for 10-12th. But they'll have to settle for a Thai breakfast. No cutting edge fine dining for them. (Hoping they are coming for an event, kind of unpleasant up here atm.) Regards, -BiP

It amazes me how angry posters on TD can get over a simple picture of food.

Put Lasagne on the menu and offer a 75% discount and Cyrille will be there faster than you can say D minus.
