I don't mean to be critical, but shouldn't one drink a dark beer with breakfast? Guinness or Anchor Steam Porter would be preferred, but Beer Lao Dark would be an acceptable substitute!

More like 20x, the Missus eats like a sparrow so half of her brekkie ended up on my plate too. A few bites of fruit later and that's me done for calories for today.

As an aside, I was just finishing some elementary planning for, in about a decade, when I become available for a Government Pension.

    What assets I hold.

What the projected Superannuation/401k/etc is most likely to be.

    But I digress.

    HW, nice Brekkie BTW

The wife made a Thai dessert a few days back and we had quite a bit of corn left over. So I made corn fritters this morning to accompany fried eggs, oven baked bacon sitting on a piece of thick wholemeal toast lathered in salted butter. As I've said before...we don't do subtle flavours up here. Fritters were okay...wife ate hers as well and said we should do again.

Had to share the bacon with the wife so you could say there was barely enough left over to be a garnish on my plate.
