The weekend... a day off the oats!
^ that looks nice.
I'd like to find something to complain about, but cannot; the bacon, the egg and the toast all look done perfectly. Did wifey cook breakfast today?
^ Nope... all my own work!
New saucepan, new phone. Simple as that.
Fine work. What phone do you have?
^^ Samsung S10+
It has transformed my cooking... apart from bacon fat it would seem!
S10 is a good phone, basically the same as my Note10 but without the pen (that I never use); same screen, camera, sw, etc. Great phone, and the cameras are really easy to use and produce great pictures; now you know the secret of why my cooking is so fabulous.
I'll stick to my original comment, it's all cooked on the lite side, but well cooked, and I bet it was tasty. Do you have any Yorkshire teabags?
Cycling should be banned!!!
Brekky in bed
^ ruined by brown stuff and baked beans; bloody Northerners. I'd have that sausage and egg straight into the bread for a sandwich (once I'd gotten Chokdee to lick off the brown sauce - he's very good at that type of thing!).
^Disagree. The HP is 'drizzled' artistically onto that egg like a celebrated Michelin-starred chef has performed it. Minimalistic yet authentic nouvelle breakfast cuisine.
^ They were the last farts out of the squeezy bottle
^^ that is the nicest thing anybody has said about Dilly on a cooking thread.
^Just seeing how much bullshit I could fit into one line. The ironic smilie had to give way..
^I'd like to see a multiple choice thread on bacon doneness, like the recent one on steak/toast/coffee. Your bacon is cooked exactly as I like it too, for sure many would disagree
^ Are you craving anything yet?
Doesn't look too safe that diet
ERROR: The request could not be satisfiedthe disadvantages to an all-meat diet are all too obvious: insufficient vitamins and nutrients, no fiber, and an increased risk for heart disease and colorectal cancer.
Nope, I thought I might miss carbs but nothing yet. Still early days though to be fair.Originally Posted by Dillinger
Yeah I don't think it's dangerous per se but I don't think I'd recommend it for long-term (or any of the other elimination / low whatever diets for that matter).Originally Posted by Dillinger
I've included eggs to help address the vitamin and mineral thing and am keeping up with me daily multi-vitamin so should be all good.
Haha yep fights have probably started over less.Originally Posted by Headworx
That's (obviously) my preference for bacon also but that being said I can still easily eat it crispy or whatever.
Because bacon.
^And so it begins
As for the meat-only diet, if avoiding carbs is the goal just go on Keto where you can still eat enough fruit & veg to get your vitamins and keep meals interesting.
Nah not a fan of keto either. The main goal is just me being a stubborn twat and proving a point.Originally Posted by Headworx
