Dill, you're going to give Hutter a run for his money by New Year. I'm only jealous.

Blob on, no point being the only miserable kid in the sweet shop.

The twigs and leaves are wearing thin, i'm thinking of a 24 hour McDonalds sit in and getting seriously creative with their secret menu. Nothing a weird as mayo and HP you understand.

It's difficult to take pictures of sausages without them looking disturbingly phallic!.

^^ Another breakfast from the 'simple is best' cook book.

One of my favourite breakfasts... sausages, beans and toast. The mushrooms were just an unnecessary, fancy addition.

    The sausages were distinctly unphallic!

A fine West Country breakfast this morning. Brown bread as well to keep it healthy.

I'm gonna miss unlimited sausages and back bacon when we get back to Korat, but I'm sure my arteries won't.

The wife slightly overcooked the bacon, but I let that pass seeing as it's Christmas.

^ very nice although I'm not fond of beans (having said that I do acknowledge them as a high quality breakfast ingredient... ), so would have gone with maybe more eggs to make a sandwich? There's something fantastic about making a sausage and egg or bacon and egg or bacon, sausage and egg sandwich from one's breakfast - it's like having two breakfasts, two brilliant breakfasts, at the same time which is why you need a cup of tea and an orange juice to keep the illusion of two breakfasts going!

That's what I love about this forum, it's a constant source of information. Sausage and egg sarnies it is, tomorrow!

We'll pass the 'honesty box' egg place today, I'll pick a few more up!

Tea yes, it tastes best when drank with a full cooked. Orange juice has no place at the breakfast table. Orange juice out of a carton is the equivalent of liptons tea. When i get back to the UK i intend cooking a bacon, sausage and egg banjo.

Making sure that the eggs are still runny -
Nothing speaks higher than a sausy/egg sarnie that's dripping with runny egg yolk.

The yellow can gives it away; nobody buys those (although Dilly is likely stocked to the hilt at home with them - how many can you fit in your hand baggage??? ).

And even more telling as to which airline lounge it might be.
A cheapo discount or a real airline.

I like baked beans with a breakfast, or with cheese on toast, or alongside toasties for something to dunk them in.

One thing I have noticed during this trip home... while in the UK I've bean (pun intened!) taking advantage of the easy availability of Heinz beans, which I've always considered to be at the pinnacle of baked bean makes, but controversial as it sounds, I now think I prefer the Brook beans we get in Thailand. I think they may be Aussie?

I'm finding Heinz beans a little too sweet and sllightly mushy. The Brook beans aren't so sweet and are a bit firmer and hold together better. I'm looking forward to having some again when we get back to Korat.

The strangest thing happened at breakfast today, and the preceding 18 hours or so.

    Suppose I better not.

In our never ending war against the Australians, you cannot give them an inch! An Englishman would sup up those Heinz (quite German sounding...) English baked beans without complaint; stiff upper lip and all that...

Could be that Brook baked beans are from Spain.

    ˇOlé!
