Big Chicken Drumsticks. What should I do with 'em?

Lazy one in tonight. Icy beer on the sofa and live football on the flatscreen.

Picked up a 3 pack of chicken drumsticks. What should I do with 'em?

Fancy something sloppy... chips and beans sorta thing, which will probably be served with em. But the drumsticks...?

Any recommendations?... can do anything really, grill, bake, fry... Some sort of light batter? breadcrumbs? Some sort of marinade? Got a full kitchen to choose from?

    It's in yer hands folks.

(although the first beer is about to be popped so any marinading will wanna be done pronto. )

    Cheers all.

Fancy something home cooked... Roast in the oven with wedges, that can be done.

    Anything done to them first?

    Man that all sounds good.

    And effort.

Went for the roast... flour, paprika, salt and pepper. Drumsticks dipped in a bowl of melted butter, then tossed around in the seasoned flour, then into the preheated oven.

Am contemplating the wedges, is it worth the semi drunken effort.

Of course it is... but will it.

Of course it is. Got some wedges parboiling. Will shake em all about and get some rosemary, garlic salt and paprika on em before in to the oven. Just turned the chicken, and like Isann's finest, it's finger lickin' good.

Just checked em. About 10 mins to go. Kitchen smells like heaven.

Got a bit rough n ready with the roughing the edges of the parboiled wedges and they were put into the oven as something quite close to potato mush sticks coated with rosemary, paprika and garlic salt....

    that's beer cooking for ya.

Season them, brown them in frying pan, put in casserole dish with whatever veg you have (onions, garlic, carrots, peppers), herbs, add red wine (or beer) and a tin of tomatoes. Salt and pepper.

Bake in the oven until cooked, or even over cooked when the meat is falling off the bones. Keep checking that the sauce is not drying up. Serve with rice, or a nice crusty bread.

I find if there is any of the sauce left over it's great with pasta the next day.

Well the wedges were so nice, I'm gonna do some again tonight, this time with the grilled chicken breast I've had marinating since last night, and maybe some corn on the cob and green-beans or sumfing.
