if you park in the ally beside villa, keep going up the alley go around to the right until it ends, turn left and walk straight into the store eventually. You will pass a Jap grocery on your left. Can't miss it. Shop is basically for decorators and poof bakers lots and lots of "cute" crap. Enjoy. To the left and on the street level of the "college" , yeah right.

Villa has most of what you need actually, as for the pans in the store mentioned I thought they were crap.

Good quality pans available at Emporium upstairs across the street.

    No need pans though.

We bought a few in the local market. Pizza type pans that is. About a foot and a half across, aluminium.

    Is that what you're after?

Not if you use grease proof paper. Accept your innate gayness and use it. It's good.

Once you have fired your oven a few times I doubt there will be any mud residue. Probably hard as rock and smooth as glass.

For bread pans make sure you use dark anodized. Much more even heat distribution. The black ones sold in just about every store do the job nicely.

Also get some spray on non stick vegetable oil, or use peanut oil in a spritzer, to spray the pans. Bread or any cooked dough is much easier excavated that way.

It were me, I'd make free formed loaves place and proof on parchment and slide it into your oven.

There is a good Italian Restaurant near the Holiday Inn on Silom Road, think it is called "Maria's" where they make Pizzas in a charcoal oven. We intend to go to ask them where they get their supplies. Will let you know
    .
Waitrose flour is sold here in Udon at tops, dammed expensive tho'.
High protein ozzie flour is also sold at tops, much better price.
In Bangkok there isa wholesaler sell all sorts of grain and flours, Rye wholemeal and cornmeal, also such things as Chickpeas etc. As you would expect way cheaper that the equivalent from Villa.
I have the price list here, will dig around and find it.
Thanks for that. Name of the wholesale supplier in Bangkok, and address if possible would be great

^ Yep, mostly for pansie cake decorating etc. The only shop I've seen with ALL the stuff for a baking set up is in the mall on Srinakarin, forget the name but it was a decent shop with everything your looking for. Hard to believe it is the only one in town. Forget the name but it is south, just, of the Dusit Thani college. Shop is on the second floor.

Emporium up stairs has a decent selection.

    Good luck
