Damn it is not that big a deal to make flour tortillas, all ya need is a small cook table to roll em out on , a large bowl to mix em in and a cast iron griddle or a iron frypan to cook em on, teflon pans aint to good because the dry cooking will ruin em in a hurry.
Lots of recipes on Google, and if a mexican can do it, you syre the hell can. give it a try.

    OH Yea, Fuck you DD.

Here, simple, and fuck that canola oil,, use lard.

    Flour Tortillas
Tortillas are the center of the meal throughout the Southwest.
    2 1/2 cupsall purpose or enriched white flour625 mL1 1/2 tspsalt7 mL1/2 tspbaking powder2 mL6 tbspcanola shortening90 mL3/4 cuphot water175 mL
In a large bowl, mix together the flour, salt and baking powder. Add shortening and combine thoroughly with your fingertips. Make a depression in the center, add the hot water and continue mixing. Turn out onto a lightly floured work surface and knead until pliable (about five minutes). Cover and allow to rest, refrigerated, for one hour. Divide and shape into 12 balls. With a rolling pin, roll each ball into a 7-or 8-inch circle about 1/8-inch thick. (A tortilla press can be purchased where Mexican and/or gourmet foods are sold).
Heat a large heavy skillet over high heat. Cook until tortilla puffs and brown spots appear. Flip over and repeat. To get rid of bubbles after turning, press lightly with your hand protected with a clean kitchen towel or potholder. Keep tortillas warm by wrapping in a clean linen towel. Makes 12 tortillas.
    To reheat tortillas:
Microwave: Wrap two tortillas in a paper towel and heat for twenty seconds at a high setting.
Oven: Wrap tortillas in foil and heat for 5 to 10 minutes at 350° F (180° C).

Thanks Dog, I wouldn't feel this old if I had more than 1/10 of normal lung capacity left to work with, cause I sure don't feel old and don't look to bad from what folks say, but to go from this desk to the door is about all I can do at a time.

You are completely right about the size of tortillas, first time I prepare something like this, I used the small ones thinking that the other ones were too big... my mistake... we need to go and buy more because they were just too small.
