^ Very nice Dirk, I think I'll have a go at that next week. I've already got most of the ingredients although will have to swap out these 'waxy' potatoes for normal ones, and I don't think our beef mince is British.

By the way, I thought you were in Scotland? There's a fruit bowl in picture 5... seems at odds?

A bit uncalled for, don'tchya think?

Anyway, I'm wearing my Irish tartan pair this week.

Or at least I was, they're in the wash now.

Looked good, Dirk. Looking forward to more of your Gousto meals. I think they're idiot proof, as long as one has semi decent skills in the kitchen.

I would've eaten that dish with boiled rice, though - but that's just me. Rice is life.

You don't do tatties AND rice, Katie, get with the program!

I only assisted with this one. My pal was a bit out of his comfort zone here and in an alien kitchen to boot.

He made the rookie error of just following the recipe, instead of reading it all and prepping first.

End product was on point though.

Before going in the oven I added Salt, Pepper, Garlic Powder and Parsley to the top layer along with the remaining turmeric oil from the tatties.

I think we're looking at Beef Kofta Wraps or the Larb Loaded Rotis tonight.

    Less with the old, mate!

I'll flounce and the average age on this forum will send it straight to the geriatric ward!

    Poor, I can accept.

Last night we had the Spiced Lean Beef Kofta Wraps with Spicy Yoghurt.

My destined-for-meltdown housemate decided to cook this one early, without any text or communication just to please himself, so me and my pal rocked up to a cold dinner.

All the same it was pretty good.

The link on the website is busted so I can’t get all the ingredients, recipe and nutritional info for this one.

Whatever he wants after scoffing a 10 minute recipe.

    I'm thinking pub, tbh.

Only 1620 here, you still have time to catch last orders in Thailand...

Seems as camp as Freddie Mercury in a Christmas grotto to me.

Hope you are enjoying though, and there are onions that you call 'bad boys' and bread you call 'dry ass' and all that stuff.

He does seem to throw the gay stickers around together with some badge of honour he wears coz he's a weedy beanpole, i suspect having a Brummie accent, lack of social skills and no girlfriend until he made it to SE Asia and paid for one raised a lot of questions, so he likes to snipe from the security of his retirement home

    It's not gone unnoticed.

Probably harks back to his time in the sandpit tutoring Ahmed and Ali.

Jeez, I bet he gave the camels another hump. No pun intended.

Looks good, Dirk. Those Gousto meals seem to be working great for you & your flatmates.

Question: does your company pay for your accoms. or is it out of your own pocket? (you may have answered this in another thread which I didn't read)

Are all 3 of you doing trainings at the moment? Is training paid for by the company or by yourself? (if questions are too nosy, you may choose not to answer)

I know some Filipino seafarers/ seamen and to my knowledge, they pay for their trainings themselves. Every so often, they need to train & pass exams so their rank (and pay) will be higher.
