    Yeh, Nah.

"The pie floater is an Australian dish particularly common in Adelaide. It consists of a meat pie in a thick pea soup, typically with the addition of tomato sauce. Believed to have been first created in the 1890s, the pie floater gained popularity as a meal sold by South Australian pie carts. In 2003, it was recognised as a South Australian Heritage Icon."

Reminds me of Harry's in Wooloomooloo when I was working at Garden Island back in 2000.
Used to visit twice a day. Sometimes if I were really hungry I'd make a Wigan Kebab out of his pie and peas with two slices of bread in the canteen.
Then have a float in the clear water around the back afterwards.
Halcyon times and good for the bank balance.

No different mate, although the pie floater originated over here in the 'laid. Sadly, all Sth Aussie pie carts are gone now- but Harrys continues the proud tradition. You can only get a pie floater in cafes in Adelaide now- but it's just not the same. I have been to Harrys many times, usually after a large session. Breakfast of champions.

I'd eat all of those, although not in the same week. They'd benefit from a professional photographer's attention.

Was all this pre chewed food spotted on your marathon around Sarf East Asia buddy, It's hard to keep up with a gourmet like you , sure know how to tap the sauce bottle and some of the dishes appear to be in a passion wagon where Kebob's your uncle.

Key question do you deliver tho , fark the expense thee dog needs to try some Manchester Chitty food to appreciate the local kibble and mince even more

While you are a gourmand even an epicure extraordinaire I think Michel Roux,, Bulli, Martin Berastegui or Arzak have little to fear and I seldom associate the term

"CUISINE" WITH SHOP BOUGHT "KRISPY KREME"

There are lots of great healthy cheap meals check out Jack Monroe who survived on quid a day stuff, a guy who can afford to visit the Emptyhad surely could do better.
    https://twitter.com/bootstrapcook?lang=en

Salad Nicoise Ingredients in local LIDL or Aldi
    Salad Nicoise
    Nicoise salad

Or for a winters day , Colcannon, Irish Stew Lancashire Hotpot or even spicier Gulasch, chop into crockpot come home to a delicious slow cooked meal, can use hocks, shins , get all teh flavour
Few extras Bay leaves. coriander , paprika , marmite vecon or vegimite for salt, I use Chia seeds and sesame for nutiness.
That Swiss Marigold powder is also a good short cut if you have no court bouillon or chicken stock from a previous spread.
NB Some shop stock cubes and sauces have hi levaes Sodium MSG and sugars if your limbering up for the mating season. Is it right eh Cheshire male is on heat every time Utd lose, or like Nelson's column, a permanent erection?

To be fair the shepherd's pie looked good was it real lamb or in fact cottage pie preferred by hung gobblers who
ll eat any mashed food if drowned in sauce

If you need some ideas PAG's threads or Jamie Oliver , BBC food or of course Delia and Nigella

If it doesn't inspire you . it'll at least take your mind of transport cafe slop

Luckily here I can enoy Tom Yam a dbeer aad change from a fiver or some Satay or Moo Yang, Salabao, Sotam for 20=30 baht on the streets at dusk

    Hi Chitty!

What is on that pizza, it looks like coleslaw?

The tacos look okay, but I like chicken or fish tacos that best.
You should start up a restaurant

Krispy Kreme in the UK? Nice! They don't have many of those in Canada at least not where I live. I tried them once in the US, and they are pretty good. Way better than Tim Horton's.

    Inspiring words David, thanks.

This is gonna be a tough challenge with every new day as I shall not be repeating one dish until all possible concoctions have been exhausted.

Hi Joe, enjoying your food posts. But, if you go to a Mexican Restaurant and want a wrap, it's called a Burrito. 555!
