You need to expand your mind when it comes to culinary concoctions in the kitchen Ciz.

I was the first on here to start dryair frying for which I was slated and ridiculed to fook.

I took it on the chin as I am doing now with my boiling of spices concept.

I have what4words for the doubters...

    Innovate, overcome,create and boil.

Technically thats 5 I know, you don't have to correct me

I have been cooking in water for a few years... even when I make stir fry's I just use a bit of water and no oil. If I do use oil, I use the EVOO spray and just quickly spray the pan. Oil has a ton of calories and fat that we don't need. Healthier fats like avocado, or olives are better if you need some good fat.. even Salmon as it has omega 3's.

Was it Armstrong said that people passing out health advice should post up photos of themselves, so we can see the real life affects of their health and fitness regime.

You sound like a health guru.

Please post up photos of yourself so we can see how fit and slim this healthy diet of yours makes a person.

    I don't 'cook in water'.

I generally have a balanced diet and eat normal portion sizes of normal healthy food, don't cut out anything, but don't eat sweet sugar laden crap, and usually exercise at least 1 hour a day.

This is myself (excuse the lack of wardrobe variety, I have 20 of these in blue, 20 of them in black, and very little interest in what I wear )

Can you please show us photos of yourself after years of 'cooking in water' and the results of all your other highly interesting health advice? Cheers.

Man has been cooking in water for thousands of years, so I'm surprised by the apparent novelty factor.

Those cooking sprays are awful. Buy some decent EVOO, it won't harm you.

We do need fat in a healthy diet. I disagree with the bollocks about butter, red meat and oils. Most of the rubbish in them is added by the food industry. It's just a matter of picking the right ones. Spay oil is a good example of bad, as is palm oil and most margarine.

She may not be talking about an aerosol.

I use a small re-fillable bottle that works just by pump action.

Handy for chips in an air fryer.

You were a decade after the first person on here to use an air fryer.

    Same here. Lazada 100-200thb maybe.

One with EEVO. One with coconut oil. Spray on a chicken breast and bake, lovely with a salad for lunch.

Thought I'd experiment and try something different!

    He who dares wins....

Dryair fried sea bass in a plum sauce..

    Chittys Crap Culinary Cuisine-20241103_173209-jpg

Stirfried with a garlic rice and soy sauce...

    Chittys Crap Culinary Cuisine-20241103_180221-jpg

    What a horrendous abomination!

After 3 mouthfuls I felt physically sick!

Even dessert couldn't shift the wretched after taste.

^ You should have steamed that Sea Bass with just a little lemon juice and herbs. Served with plain rice and stir fried broccoli and you'd have been on a winner.

Looks quite edible to me but -2 point because of no gravy to be seen. Are you scared of the gravy hating seppo?

Gravy on a plate with salad is a very controversial decision, not one for the faint hearted!

Christ, that meat only needs shoelaces to complete it.

No gravy needed on a pork steak. Ideally an apple sauce.

The soldiers are meant to be toasted, not briefly waved towards the sun out the window.
