At least they don't have hot dog or corn dog on the menu. Proper sausages, only. No burger either. The maccas plague was some years away.

I remember when sardines on toast was a "treat"

Notice no spam or bacon, can't be halal or kosher as there is ham lower down?

In the cafes of Dublin Cardiff and London of my boyhood bacon rolls, sandwiches were favourites perhaps it was a price thing?

Just a couple of years more than 50, I was a primary school student in Sydney.
There was a Fish & Chip shop across the road from school.
On the rare occasions that I was allowed to buy lunch, it was a piece of battered fish 10 cents, 5 cents worth of chips and a Razz or Sunnyboy for 5 cents.

    Soup-10 cents

I've had Pea Soup 3 times in my life.

    First, only and last time.

    In an aussie pub.

Wasn't that bad, but you just don't do that !

I stayed (omce) near Hindley street: it was a complete zoo. 4:00am at MacDonarls was carnage as the nightclubs and bars closed. Never again.

All seems fitting for a bit of MacDonald carnage

    Which one was it ?

Noun and verb still not in use, in case you'll grab it.

    Bloody hell that's expensive!

80 cents Aussie versus $5 Canadian.
