^ You cant have chrimbo without sprouts. Have you tried mashing them?
Oh and you gonna share your Northern gravy recipe or not?
There will be no gravy this year, I'm afraid. Rice, nooden and maybe some seaFOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD.
It just won't be the same without freezing my balls off at Christmas with my mum's mashed potato that you could smash windows with and veggies that have been cooked for 3 days. It never is.
But I'll make do.
I love you too.
I'll remember to post a picture for you (if the site allows me to do so from my phone).
I'm planningon roasting a big chicken, same as last year. I can't fit a turkey in the convection oven.
At this rate, you'll be able to freeze the chicken in the car if your actual freezer is full of other Christmas goodies.
We're caravanning again so probably a BBQ or a nearby restaurant. Never really had a fondness for Xmas dinner anyway
Fuck that stick the sprouts in the massive pan of oil along with the turkeys.
Speaking of which I got 2 turkeys from Makro the other day. About 2k each, the cvnts.
I hear ya but I don't have d massive pan
Will this spark a Brussels sprout thread? Along the same lines as the baked bean thread? Och there just wee cabbages . Give them a chance
In a warm climate I would go prawns, more prawns, and a ham roast. Don't see the point of turkey.
I have been fortunate the last 15 years. A family has always felt empathy for the single guy alone at Christmas.
Christmas is always about kids for me. I never grew up, but usually take a bottle of decent Port as a gift for the host, and a good bottle of red wine for the hostess.
No fucking awful sprouts, just a packet of bread sauce for me. For old times sake.
I will be roasting a Prime Rib for Christmas. Mashed taters and veggies. Wife will probably have Mama Noodles.
On New Years we will have Moo Han. 15kg pig on order
I'm taking Christmas Eve and all of Christmas day off from teaching to prepare a huge meal....prepared over the phone.
Right now we're having Peri-Peri chicken and veggies with yellow rice delivered and will buy a cake from a shop for dessert. Fook with the cooking and cleaning for the entire family like usual. I might make a lasagna though if I can find some decent cheese.
"I was a good student. I comprehend very well, OK, better than I think almost anybody," - President Trump comparing his legal knowledge to a Federal judge.
I can't be arse cooking and cleaning but I'll make a lasagne?
Jesus man, I've never even attempted lasagne for this reason
Probably rotisserie chicken, flatbread, salad, pickles and lashings of hummus.
Under a cloudless sky at about 20c, hopefully.
