On My recent visits to Cheshire and the Welsh Riviera there seemed to be an abundance of lasses who had evidently enjoyed 3 meals each morning.
They may be find queuing outside Missus Miggins-Greggs Pie Emporium Llandidnot and Press Tat in before 9am daily. to get their paws on the big uns.
It also answered the age old poser . Who ate all the pies?

In keeping with the subject of the thread, what happened to TD's very own slow cook, Chico?
Too sweet but ingredients were cooked to a juicy perfection and the beef was soft and tender.
I could try and salvage this and turn it into a curry but I reckon the dog deserves a treat.

This one of those "things" that many Americans just do not eat and why add it to food and what's the point. Mint is very strong in general, so I would think it just about take over a plate of food. I guess I could research it but I have never had it, never been offered it on any meal and probably wouldn't eat it on anything. Not busting anyone's chops as its not a bad thing, just very different and I see many of you guys making note that it wasn't there.
Added some mint but still tasted to sweet..

I got this out today and it still had the plastic end on the plug and made some pumpkin fritters...
They were about as enjoyable as your slow cooked sweet slop but didn't take 8 hours
The dogs face is priceless!

Willy I think explained how to coat and Nev how to thicken for thick 'uns, low seasoning.
Remeber golden rule with liquids you can always add more salt spice etc , but you cannot take it out.
I'm sure you know how to dip stick so a few tastings in early stages will save wastage.
Diners can always season at the table
Or perhaps you can find a lady who'd like to bring things to the boil and combine with dating thread

The dogs getting another bowl full before bed, hopefully it will all be gone in a couple of days so I can slow cook another disaster.

The bonus in winter here in the UK is that those lovely doggy poo bags keep ones hands warm.
