True.
The point stands though.
snubby makes blanket statements that aren't correct, and will never back down when it's pointed out to him.
Which can be pretty funny.
Also a Mexican breakfast that has been adapted for gringo's, via the Tex/Mex route.
A perfectly valid comparison- beans for breakfast! Nothing wrong with it either. I have knocked up a version myself, using canned beans, some chilli powder, herbs and onions. Quite OK.
Well, two of us. I wouldn't try to peddle it in a New Mexico roadhouse. Forgot to mention- I added some 'jus' from a tin of tomatoes. Haute cuisine.
Nothing close in flavor to a can of Heinz beans, FFS. Another absurd comparison.
What I said has now been misconstrued by you and others. My point was that the hash brown bean concoction in the OP was not American because it isn't and that is because Americans do not eat Heinz beans because they don't. Visit America and see for yourself. You are only making yourself look stupid by trying to prove otherwise.
Peeled plummed tomatoes on a breakfast with baked beans and mushrooms is a decent Vegan American breakfast!
Often served up in the UK with an Americana coffee and almond milk.
Just to repeat a famous quote, verbatim-
"Not one single American would ever eat beans for breakfast".

I was in the US for three months about ten years ago.
I didn't spend the time establishing whether a product first produced in America and stocked by US retailers was ever bought and consumed by Americans.
And I see you've changed your story again.
Now, you're saying Americans don't eat bean hash browns, which was not the point.
