Damn, that's a very nice looking offset.
Damn, that's a very nice looking offset.
Just came across this video in YouTube. Cooking a whole lamb in a tandoori oven. Good video, not only for the food content.
Nothing beats roasted meat, give me that over bbq anyday but i am a sunday roast fan born and bred.
See actually i do, and it doesn't involve wrapping meat in foil. I like a good bbq, just i prefer a roast, although the difference in cooking style can get blurred when talking about cooking over coals which has been done for several thousand years before America was "born".
Well, with the wife off to work now, gotta start fending for ourselves
^ Good job you ate them tonight mate or you'd have had to offload them on Chitty.
ʌ ʌ Tandoori "Inspired" Lamb Kebabs. Sounds like the same bloke writing the BBC news ticker this week has been working at Tesco.
Looks good, but has the BBQ got a brolly attached?
Wht kind of Northern dickhead puts a brolly over a bbq?It has a lid on it. We sit and eat under the umbrella down here
Some may find this interesting. A 12 episode guide to BBQ from Tom Kerridge, a UK Michelin starred chef.

That's a very nice from me!
The food looks good but what's up with the kid with three arms and an incredibly large head?
Another day ending in y so time to fire up the Orion cooker.
Start with some beef shorties with great marbling. Add a rub and let them rest an hour for the salt to work it’s magic.
Lovely hunk of beef - YouTube
The Orion cooks much quicker than a slow smoker. A quick check online tells me that 2 hours 45 will be enough.
Make sure we dont dehydrate.
After an hour we lifted the lid to add a chicken (for the dog) and 4 slabs of pork ribs.

Don't forget to rest the meat. Left them in an pesky for 45 minutes and then done.
And plated up. Forgot to get pics of the pork ribs. Forgot to eat them also. Cooked some chicken legs and beef skewers on the gasser. Loaded the baked spud done in foil. And a side of health green salad.

That looks good. Where did you come across that smoker over there? Orion is a small American company, and you would think they would be exporting those.
ACE hardware, I think. Genuine item, so definitely exported. Not too expensive about $200 or less.
