Start by lighting the coals. These nifty chimneys do the trick. This one has seen some use but still going strong. About 10 minutes or until flame comes out of the top.

I used some disposable metal trays this time.

If I was your neighbour, I'd be making sure my music was played loud, long and late.

You would. A buddy of mine up the street has a smoker. I was talking to him about it awhile back, and he mentioned that someone called the fire department on him a couple of times. Pretty dirty thing to do.

Unfamiliar with Balcony BBQ etiquette, do you toss off the extra juices before serving?

With a steak the juices can be mopped up by the potatoes but do you find you roll goes soggy? I realize a rather sensitive issue you may pm in confidence.

After 6 or 7 hours I took them out, they were so soft 2 bones just clear dropped out. Then the trick is to pack them into an esky (chilly bin it cool box) for about an hour two.

    Final result...

A red berded Wahid is on it's way to your place to give you a PSV standard thorough truncheon voucher. The very suggestion Dr Willy might haram scarum is effable.

I like that meat thermometer kit you got, is it Bluetooth ? Where did you get it. And where can I find one of these charcoal lighting gismos , seems easier than my rubber band starting a fire system.

Hey BB, I was gonna ask, I saw you Q with Thai coals. Does your wife make you cut off all the dark crunchy burnt areas because it might give you cancer?

I mean those are the best parts and I have watched them with scissors snip it all off. Crying shame that is.

I picked it up from Lazada for not very much. Maybe 30Rm. I think it uses radio frequency because the range is up to 200 metres. I was on the far side of the pool (100 metres) plus 25+ floors up and it still could read it.

The chimney thing was a game changer, makes it so easy to light the coals. Even if you use the rubber bands it allows the heat to stay in close and guides more O2 in to burn better. I think I got mine at Mr. DIY.

It actually produces very little smoke, and what smoke it does stays inside to add flavour to the food. Drip pans catch the fat so there’s no flare ups. You cannot even tell the Q is on apart from the delicious smell of roast meat wafting through the entire floor.

My wife don't worry much about my health
I opted for a reduced pension. but the wife get's to keep 3/4 of it after I die. Do you think that might have been a mistake?

Miss Mindanao got an IPhone 13 for her birthday. If you want a decent birthday present buy it yourself. Words of wisdom.
