^Not sure if our resident passport renewal expert was around to see what Plies use to dish up. I honestly thought the guy was just taking the piss for the first few years then things actually went down hill from there

    Dafuck?

corned beef for burgers then you fried them?

next time just drop/empty the tin into a beer batter, deep fry the fuckers, and stop pretending.

I did corned beef mixed with mash into corned beef croquettes, I loved them, the wife wants rice with her meal.

I reckon it was those woolly hand knitted placemats that got him banned.

I don't think Sliders have made the thread yet, so let's fix that.

What inspired an Aussie in LOS to order pecan pie? You must have had it in the states at some point, I am guessing.

So far I’ve struggled finding a burger that suits my taste buds here in Jomtien. Only want one about 1-2 times a month so not looking for them everyday. But I’ve tried the Wombat and Kiwi Bar, an American place called Just Burger and think I had one at Tigglebitties but none of them have hit the spot. Probably head over to Patters to try Hunger Pangs or one of the other many places available. So far have fought off the urge to just head to Burger King.

^Hunger Pangs are good, I like Jim's Burgers and Prime Burgers too. Or if you feel like taking the car for a run and learning to navigate Naklua at the same time, there's a terribly located and oddly named place called And Burger up there that do good ones too. But burgers are another of those things that's there's a lot depending on what you like, same like pizza there is no one product that everyone will agree is the best. It's a shame Carl Jr's shut down as they were probably the best of the American chain burgers here. Another angle of course is everything you might need to make your perfect burger at home is readily available here.

I had it in the States many times but first had it in the Philippines where Yank mates introduced me to it, and Key lime pie too

^ … will go look for “And Burger” as I’ve decided to go back to the same dentist I used before at BPH who now has his own practice in Naklua. Thai dude about my age who got his dental doctorate from Georgetown in the states. Thanks for the recommendation.

Sounds decent, but I would have dressed those with aioli, and coleslaw with pineapple chunks to balance out some of the saltiness of the canned corn beef.

Edith and Edweena had homemade pork mince burgers for dinner, I held off and will do a beef one later.

    A bunless beef one.

80/20 Aussie beef mince. S+P. Then cheese and bacon when turned, with a slice of tomato and maybe some BBQ sauce on top.

    Bunless burgers, what's happening.

    Not quite.

My body doesn't really desire stodgy stuff nowadays. Maybe some toast in the morning and pasta/rice/potatoes with lunch or dinner.

How ghey is cutting a burger with a turk-wise knife.

Aussie beef, bacon, onion, cheese, BBQ sauce, tomato. Perfect late snack.

Edith, who has hollow legs, went for pasta from the deep freeze.

Will have one with a bun tomorrow afternoon.

Nothing wrong with a 'burger' sans bread buns, had quite a few at places where it was an option. Degree of irony here, usually foresaking a carb loaded bread bun but scuppering several beers. We are only men.
