Thread: The perfect burger

A reminder of how good a simple, classic burger is.

Cheese, bacon, onion, pickles, mustard + ketchup (small amount, not Thai style half a bottle ) tomatoes, iceberg lettuce and mayo.

No need to get all artisan with blue cheese, kimchi and truffles.

^^Probably the closest to a perfect burger in the thread so far, even with the somewhat contentious issue of salad on top

The Quick Piccalilli Pounder

^ put the cheese on the cooked side of the burger after you flip it, so it melts on while the underside of the burger patty cooks, and put the fried bacon on top of the cheese (if doing a bacon cheese burger) so it helps melt it with liquid bacon fat.

Cheese
Pineapple
Beetroot
Plus the "salad" Onion fried or freshcut.
And if you didn't have the pineapple on the burger, you could order a pineapple fritter.

Seems like they only have beetroot in a jar over here, in like cubes, Im talking about nice big slices of beetroot, The stick your fingers in the can and pull out a piece big enough to cover most of the bread, then lick your fingers clean of the purple.

Same brand Fondles pointed out above and it's available everywhere here, as are other brands too, as are home-made offerings as well from places like Tinnies. How the fuck do you guys live in the middle of nowhere and just assume things aren't available that are everywhere in other parts of Thailand?
