    Let's try this again...

This is another couple of burgers I had over the last year or so. For the life of me, I can not remember where I got this one, but I know it is a local mom-and-pop place and not a chain.

One I did during lockdown. Done with melted Dubliner and hand cut fries...

I think good chips are harder to produce than a great burger.

Pretty sure they're oven fries, they look very much like the end result when I tried to make them (unsuccessfully) before. Would need to taste them before writing them off though, restaurants have a tendency to be able to get things like that right regardless of what they may look like.

The burger and fries looks great to me. And no way is that processed cheese, look at how it melts! It's a thick lump of cheddar!

I'm not a massive burger fan but in a past life used to struggle to get past a 1/2 lb blue cheese burger from Schwartz on the way home. They are self labelled "gourmet" these days - as far as i am concerned burger and gourmet don't belong together.

I've not had one in 15 years and the prices have gone up considerably but they were foking lovely and large.

Those burgers sold next to soi Nana about a decade or so ago were the bollocks. Loads of mustard on them... Like a homemade Maccy D cheeseburger... Nice.

1/3 lb burgers were withdrawn from the US as they thought it was less than 1/4.

Yep, all lost. The info would be years out of date anyways. If in BKK today, I'd recommend Burger Bro. The best burger in BKK for the price point when I was last there. Great sides as well.

    Nana burgers were damn good.

The burgers here where I'm at are pretty damn good as well. Flipper food is generally shit, but they can make superb burgers and shawarmas.

Was that the stall that used to rock up at closing time up attached to a bike?

They had a hundred burgers at a 100 baht a go.

There was a mass surge and crush of ravenous, burger deprived farangs battling for that ultimate burger.

Tasted fooking lush after a skin full.

Somchai sold out in about 10 minutes.

Yep that's it. I gave em 1000 baht one night, which they claimed was only 100. They could have been right, some of the states I got into(booze and birds and nearly 1 bloke)

^ I remember that stall but cannot remember actually eating a burger from there.

My Soi 4 evening usually started in either Jools or Chequers where I would have a pre-plaza bender feed.

The shawarma stall on the corner of Sukhumvit and Soi 5 was the place to go.

Watch the football in Gullivers, pick up a shawarma for sustenance and then straight into the debauchery.
