You most certainly didn't go to the kitchen just to fuck spiders
I approve of your game plan.

PAG - superb custard tarts.
Looper - always a pleasure to see his pics (might wanna give a little less dessert to the ladies...).
Dilly - get the fuk out of the kitchen; that bread pudding was an utter disgrace - a DISGRACE!
^Very healthy pudding there Boner
I had 3 puddings today
Picnic with honourable lady from Tokyo-to to which I brought the deli chips, iceberg lettuce, seafood highlighter, caesar dip and heavily seeded oranges from my orange trees.
She in turn brought what she chose to refer to as 'pudding' without any prompting from me and she works in catering so she is the lingo expert
This comprised
2x homemade miniature Creme Brulee in small glasses with teaspoons
2x homemade miniature passionfruit cheesecakes in cute little jars
For a total of 4 puddings
We only ate the Creme Brulee al fresco (1 each) and she was not up for a balcony soiree (choosing to remain unseeded) but she gave me the cheesecakes as a consolation prize for my 2nd double pudding later in the evening for a total of 3 puddings
Looks like Markies got your back there.
I've heard it said that pudding is better than sex.
In my 30s I would have said, no way, I don't even eat pudding.
In my 50s it has gone the other way round, sadly.
Now I think that pudding is great.
Salted chocolate and caramel brownie with all the accoutrements.
What's not to like... the right way up, or upside down... it's all good with custard.
You can have pudding any night you want...
And if you can't finish up one night... just wrap it up, cool it down and try again tomorrow!
Does it taste better when the spoons are free?
Did you splash a bit of the hongers in the pud?
^^^^ Coulda done with some custard for this...
I called it a cake but Senorita corrected me and said it is an almond pastry
I think she is right as it has a pastry base and walls
Served with salted caramel ice cream
^ Looks great mate.
The Almond Pastry looks good also.
^It is a cold winter down under this year LT!
Have you not taken her to a pick your own yet, Peak season atm
^^
One of the delights of a UK summer, certainly in the West Country with its narrow lanes and high hedgerows, a natural habitat for wild berries.
Just make sure you pick the high ones...
^ I believe that Edmond enjoys the flavour of the low hanging berries.
Which is just as well, really!

Ice cream and not custard in this weather?
Carte Blanche with your Cart d'or eh?
I woke up fukking freezing at 2am the night before last in that fukkin bin liner.
I was gonna offer it you to take back to Thailand but Amazons returns process says I can have it for 28 days, the summer is bound to return the sooner you get on that bloody plane
^ I would book your holiday from Wednesday lunchtime. I must admit that I've had enough of this shitty weather and am quite happy to head back home next week
And yes, I was a bit disappointed to be offered ice cream instead of custard with the crumble but seeing as my mum's 87 I don't like to mention such things.
Nice crumbles everyone. Nice to convert something that is edible and free from nature yourself!
No pudding thread is complete without rhubarb crumble.
One afternoon, as I was walking the daughter down to the Golden Lion to teach her about her heritage, we walked past a house that had put out a box of rhubarb - asking people to help themselves as they had too much to handle. Yes, these places still exist in Somerset.
I helped myself to a few stalks and gave them to my mum.
If the crumble looks a little dry, that's because it was. My mum is 87 and very set in her ways, and doesn't like anyone messing with the cooker settings. Everything is cooked at the same heat, bizarrely enough.
But anyway, a dollop of ice cream solved that problem.
Not only did the daughter learn about the pub where here father started underage drinking 40 odd years ago, but she was also introduced to rhubarb crumble (which she hated).
