Uh, I have a name, it is MM. It just shows how ultimately rude and ignorant you are. Didn't you lose a ton of weight on keto at one time? You'd think of all people you'd be a little helpful or decent. But, you are continually rude and frankly, I feel very sorry for you cause you must have one sad life to be that type of person.

I drink it when I'm not fasting, which is normally on the weekends, but I do have MCT oil in my coffee when I am fasting. It may break a fast, but it doesn't spike your insulin and helps with losing weight. You can read more about it if you want.

    Well done.

But that's 5.4kg, in 2 weeks. If true that is extreme weight loss, which isn't good. Unless you are/were 30kg overweight in which case the excess weight will melt away.

Keep it up, slow and steady.

I believe that too. Well done. Those 2 are lost causes unfortunately.

Exercising everyday and hope to lose about 25-30 pounds by the end of the summer.
    That's 13kg+

An extreme amount to lose healthily in a short span of time.

    Slow, long, sustainable.

But good luck, well done, wishing you success.

^Thanks, well it isn't just about weight loss on the scale to me. I'll be putting on some muscle, and how my clothes fit are a good indicator as well.

I think I can lose maybe 20-25 pounds, as from what I've been reading you lose a lot in the first three months, but yes it is usually 1-2 pounds a week on Keto.. so I'm not just focusing on the scale. It is a big lifestyle change and I really like it which is important. No more sugar spikes and then crashes, no more energy slumps, no more pain from acid reflux. It really is the way to go for me. And I am eating a lot of good fats and healthy whole foods. My challenge is about persevering and keeping on track.

It is water weight. When you go low carb you go from burning glycogen to burning ketones. You excrete all that glycogen and carbs that made you feel bloated. You lose a lot the first week or two of water weight on very low carb. Your body is trying to become fat adapted.

I was losing 200grams a day average, 1.4 kg week 0r about 3 lbs a week and I was exercising a lot. 40k bike every morning running as well in the evening 3-4 evenings a week.
I find it a stretch you lost 12lb or 5.4kg in 14 days.
Were you wearing heavy clothes when you took the benchmark weight?

went from 85k to 75kg healthily over 12-18 months before. One noticeable aspect was that some pain in my left knee disappeared.

After losing 10kg, put on a 10kg backpack and walk around to see what you've lost. Can be quite surprising.

I imagine it's good motivation for lardies that lose 20-25kg to keep it off.

Excrete glycogen? Really? Is that a typo? If not, can you direct me to a link to read about it, please?

    TIA.

^You end up pissing a lot of that water weight out, all that sugar and glycogen. Hence, why I lost 12 pounds in a week. You can definitely read up about it. It is normal to lose up to 10 pounds in the first week. You also have to drink a lot of water to flush toxins out. I am on the toilet all the time.. lol. But, it works, I have lost so much already in my lower tummy it is so much flatter already. Not bloated like I feel when I eat too much carbs!

    Congrats, that's great.
I've lost 70 pounds in the past, that was in 2014, sadly I've put most back on. Ultimately, want to lose about 60 pounds.
I know what you mean for sure.

    Especially when morbidly obese.

None of it ever actually given a number by PB, because basically her 'weight loss journey' is a round trip ticket from morbidly obese to merely obese and then back again.

I lost it in 9 days, and wasn't wearing heavy clothes. I have a Renpho scale and it is a great scale that measures more than just your weight. So, I keep track, and weigh in once a week normally. You should know if you did Keto, that once you severly restrict your carbs and cut out sugar, you lose weight, especially in the first week when you trying to get into ketosis and then fat adaptapted which takes a bit more time. I know I am in ketosis because I am not hungry in the morning, and basically don't have much of an appetite.

Yes, why go through all the malarkey of Keto (sis) and all the other stuff? Reduce your breakfast, a small portion of eggs a few days a week, fruit and granola the other days. A sandwich with a couple of ounces of meat or cheese and more fruit for lunch. A nice dinner of fish, chicken, pork or beef where the meat portion is 4oz. Steamed veg with some balsamic, or some sauce you like for flavor, half a potato, rice, or a small portion of pasta. But the key is run, walk or jog 6-8 miles a day. Done this for three year, have perfect body fat, not one day ill, and a much better mood. All the other BS is superfluous if you eat right and exercise daily.

    Amen brother.

This however takes a smidgen of will power.
