Was wondering it tastes like, surely not same, same like chicken!

Never seen it. They have a few crocodiles rotating away in Amphawa but they've also got a new McDonald's now so that generally wins.

Even chickens don't taste like chickens some times. Take those raptors that run about the Thai countryside. They taste like shit compared to the real thing.

Similar tasting to Croc.
Mild to strong gamey reptilian.

Loins and midsections tend to be the choices cuts, yet the tail is most flavourful.
Stocky legs will be on the tough chewy side.

More often than not, locals will mince the meat with the usual herbs, garlic and chilies - as they will when preparing snakes.
Sometimes, when available, used chunky style in curries.
