I love em and use im all the time.
best to soak overnight or all day before putting to the fire. Hint. Don't salt until the last 10 minutes.

No, I am not kidding. They take longer to cook, but they need to be at a roiling boil for 10 to 20 minutes during the cooking process to inactivate the toxin.

Not really used black but green is extensively used in garam masala, but it can go in almost any curry or middle eastern dish. I use it also in Rice Pud and in Boiled Rice

Pods or spice, Cujo? It's a stong spice, so add a little at a time only.

Here you go, took 2 seconds on google... What Is Cardamom Spice and How Is It Used?

I like a heaped teaspoonful of turmeric in the rice. Not only adds flavour but colour to the dish as well.
My curry expertise doesn't go much further than adding some coconut milk and midas curry powder.

British food - best in the fokkin world!

Post up some Brains Faggots, Dill, if you see them for sale somewhere. Or you could make your own. They aren't dificult to make. They are delicious with mashed potatoes, gravy and veg of your choice. Mine would be mashed swede or turnip and some garden peas. Baby carrots would also be good.

It does look good but I wouldn't go that far!

Ya see, in Brum you lose on the price of a papaya but gain on the Fray Bentos pies. These are over 200 Baht in Villa Market.

That Balti curry pie is a tad dubious, I was going to allow it in the poll seeing as though it was the Dillmiester.

The wife and I were talking about making a vegetable Jap curry, with the veggies diced up a tad smaller than normal, then using the curry as a gravy, Jap stylee over beef patties paired with rice.
