Worst I've eaten is sea cucumber, but I won't eat many of the insects in Thailand.

Saying that, there is a green beetle that has a fantastic taste and great as a flavouring in many dishes, bit I can't remember the name.

Best (unusual) I've eaten is Croatian escargot, slipped down the hatch with a sip of red wine and were really great.

I was stung by a jellyfish off the coast of Malaysia and girlfriend ordered one that evening as (fun) revenge. Looked a bit like translucent, shredded cabbage; bland but good spicy dipping sauce made it pleasant enough.

I go along with Pragmatic above, stay clear of the cow's placenta. We don't have to pay for it as it's a traditional invite every time a relative's cow delivers.

I've tried dog meat in South Korea and I did the witchety grub during a tour of NT. Done the usual thai insects and water beetle soup. fried duckbills are pretty good.

Other than that, you lot are boggin.

    Interesting, from the article:

The taste of the flight muscles is often compared to sweet scallops or shrimp.
How many flight muscles do you need to have a bite, though
