They look great, but they taste terrible. Awful things those Issan sausages...
Noods, they are fucking awful things.
nowt like a bit of cartilage sausage.
best sausages i have had in thailand are, northern style, garlic, chilli, all produced by JPM,bought at makro.
green packageing,beige,red 900grms.180bht.
i remember about 10yrs.ago was a food festival upstairs in the mall, and there were a lot of sausage vendors, tried quite a few, till i came to this bloke selling sausage,
farang he said i have the best, well it had to be the worst fking awfull,as i said to him mai de he would have killed me if the wife hadnt said he dont like rice,
yes they were issan sausages, came away with 4kilo of chaing mai [northern style.these JPM are not faraway for taste.
Sai Oua and Saikrop Isaan can both be very good. The isaan ‘tangy’ style can be addictive. As always with Thai food the extras like chopped raw chilli, peanuts, ginger etc. are essential.
I’ve had the Makro frozen Sai Oua and they are not bad. The best are freshly, locally made of course.
I'm not your teerak.
I like the Richmond sausages from Villa.
Are you saying that's your pic of your bbq cooking issan sausages, that you say you hate?
