    Fancy An Indian?

I have a few Madhur Jaffrey recipe books that I use quite a lot, and they're consistently reliable. In these days of not having a lot to do, I thought those unfamiliar with cooking authentic Indian meals might find this useful. It's a series from a few years ago which personally I hadn't seen, but for some reason has just popped up on EZTV. Given the content, I thought it more appropriate here than in the Movie/TV thread. I believe that the 8 episodes are available on Youtube also.

Well, i did a cupboard inspection yesterday and found a group of 6 400grm jars of Pataks curry sauces tucked at the back. They go on offer @ £1 a jar and my usual frugal nature means i cannot walk out without buying some so i usually have quite a few.

Stock rotation has been sub-optimal and the QM is going to get a dressing down as it turns out i have 3 madras jars of use by vintage Aug-19, 2 Bhunas of the same and a Vindaloo from Jun-19, a good batch i believe.

Now they come with those tabs on the lid which indicate the right time to cook for your mother-in-law and none are ready sooooo - i am going to risk risk it - i usually mix a combo of jars so i it may never be known which saw for me.
