    Lunch ... the second course

Had a half decent nosh up recently.

I'm not much of a one for Dinner and prefer a decent Lunch.

Mine, a chicken caesar salad with prosciutto

Lassie chose a seafood mix. Not really a Fisherman's Basket, but close.

Kids got the standard Fish and Chips and managed to get through most of it.

I was inspired by PH's excellent long (5 hour) lunch recently ... https://teakdoor.com/the-kitchen/961...ml#post4062987 (Dinner)

Have to say that all looks good, did they discount the Caesar on account of them providing the ingredients and you make it yer sen?

^ I've been teetotal since Friday night

It's Nasi Lemak btw and a franchised version of it. Not the best

^ I miss how the Malays/Indos do chicken. Stuff here is just a pale shadow.

Nasi Lemak is one of my all time favs.

Post gym slow-cooked teriyaki short ribs finished in the pan, with some buttered corn.

    That worked.

Basted in teriyaki sauce, wrapped in foil, then slow bake for 2+ hours.

Into a searing hot pan with more teriyaki sauce and Woila. Weckon Chitty or Dill could even manage it. Though will be adding a dasheen of whiskey next time.

Not bad but I would have added slivers of Parmesen and a ceasar dressing.

Lunch was good today, I say lunch; I'm having my dinners for lunch for a while. It's easier to burn off.

Mix and match tuna stuffed pepper

There was lemon in there too

Fried some onion, garlic and mushroom and mixed in the tuna and stuffed it in the pepper.

    Aussie rib eye

With a s&p an garlic butter and lemon spread and face down into a hot pan of butter for one minute ala Lulu

Add sun dried tomatoes, et VIOLA.

Followed by a ramekin and teaspoon of homemade vanilla ice cream and one date

    Time for a kip
