We had tacos the other day, but with a minced beef and mexican sauce filling. Then the salad on top.

Is your Mexican a vegetarian alternative?

Anything but, there was half a kilo of ground Aussie mince and a large white onion cooked plus the season mix to fill them with. I see in the pic it doesn't look like there's meat but they were heavy and full, but I stack the meat more to the centre in some ridiculous attempt to limit the mess.

The leftovers, gonna have Tacos for brekkie tomorrow too

Decided to get those Irish Pork Sausages I got some time ago from the Brit Shop in Pattaya a whirl. Planned to roast them with some onion and red pepper that had been coated with olive oil and some dried spices and chopped garlic.

30 minutes in a hot oven, the last 10 dual fan and grill.

Garlic mash potato, and some peas which was something of an after thought. Home made gravy though, none of your instant crap.

Sausages were excellent, crispy skin and full of flavour.

I will definitely use the Brit Shop again, and these are the sausages in case anyone else is interested, 145 baht for a pack of 5.

    Had worse.

Also had better. A lot better. Cheese and sour cream, with a side of Salma Hayek would have improved it no end.

The kid had the idea of putting our wraps into those 4x6in bags, the same as the 2am donor kebab cart we frequent when's she's picking me up from the bars.

Bit too much mint sauce for my liking, I would have had a tin of beans as well.

Some fine meals and choices there hallelujah, glad you had a cobra with that curry. I've walked out of c house's in disgust at being offered Kingfisher.

Props to Dingle and Joe as well, both dishes look great!

And not a single reply from snubby!

Perhaps my bait was a bit too obvious, but he's obviously busy fighting the good fight on the war thread.

Apropos beer in the curry house, my memories are of Carlsberg. For a while you couldn't get anything else. Horrible shit.

Lal Toofan is good if you ever come across it:

Lal Toofan is a specially created brew, designed to complement Bangladeshi and Indian Cuisine. It is stronger to provide a robust taste platform to soften the most warming of spices but remain delicate enough to augment the sophisticated texture of curry dishes. It has a rich full flavoured smooth taste.
