Well there was salad involved.
You could do worse that to eat copious amounts of carrots. Second time today I have used the word "copious". I have not used a carrot.
I eat tuna salad everyday with shredded carrots, pumpkin, all the greens, pickled beetroot, kiwi fruit and pineapple pieces normally with fried chicken legs or fish.
Heaps of Omega 3 and vitamins.
^^ They were pretty ordinary, on reflection.
I'm just amazed you posted the picture! Tbf it looked a lot more appetising than a handful of upside down tomatoes, all those carrots must be good for the eyes.
You really shouldn't be amazed. I've posted dozens of pictures.
You're just a pickled dick with little material.
Last night while I was looking thru the stuff sold on facebook, I found people selling smoked boneless bangus (milkfish) so I had two delivered this morning. I've never tried it before.
We had leftover corned beef hash so the wife made an omelette to accompany the fish. The corned beef was bought from another guy on facebook who makes it at home. Superb stuff
The fish was superb, two cost 320P or about 210B, delivered.
I was so excited about the fish, I forgot to get out the pepperoncini a few would have been perfect for this meal.

Ah ok, got it now and I've never tried it smoked. You can understand why I thought it would be impossible for anyone there not to have eaten Bangus before though! Can you get Snapper or Mahi Mahi (aka Dorado aka Dolphin fish) down there easily?
No, just mayo. Was still very moist though with the steak juices seeping out with each bite.
I've seen snapper but the price is right up there with salmon and I've not seen dolphin (the fish). Dolphin is probably my favorite among the finned creatures.
As I recall, my mom would wrap a fillet up in aluminum foil with onion, tomatoes and lemon I think and bake it. Maybe I'll try something like that with a slab of mackerel here.
