It's a bit lighter on the choona than expected.
If I'm entirely honest.
Did you already eat the choona?
The delivery lad did have a spoon in his pocket.
Never order anything with mayo

I can pop round if you don't deliver.

Morrisons had spicy sausages on offer....so slow cooked sausage casserole with sliced potatoes, tomato, beans, carrots, onion, garlic, pearl barley, pimenton and yet more spices overnight. It is spicy, now just have to wait for lunchtime.

^ Why would you slow-cook sausages?:)
like all slow cooking, chuck it in the night before, 6 hours later done and enough for 4 people or 4 meals. Sausages tho cook well, these were fookin spicy and it came out and flavoured the tatties, bean etc.
I’m sure it tasted good…
or freeze some down
One reason I like my slow cooker, it uses about one tenth of the energy of an oven, so even if the time is trebled it is still relatively efficient and I personally find slow-cooked stews more flavourful.
Win-win.
Also with the slow cooker I don't spend time browning any meat or pre-frying anything. Saves time and energy and washing up.
Win-win-win.
Tonight is the closing of the Thai government financial year so the gf will be unpredictably late getting home. This is the one fortnight in the year when they have to work hard and late. There's a bean chilli in the slow cooker that will be ready to eat any time from now until midnight. Maybe not her favourite dish, I like it and she won't complain if there is food.
