^ It tasted pretty good, to be honest. It's a great use of leftover chili
I'll hafta take your word for that. More pics of the bacolod resto scene would be great.
Giant egg or small plate and portions?
looks goodnonetheless!
^ I prefer it with minced beef and lots of basil, but as usual the name escapes me.
If there's one thing I will leave Thailand with (chance granted) it will be how great a fried egg is on virtually any meal.
Game changer...
No more onion tears or grated knuckles
You love your kitchen gadgets.
Its quicker to slice and dice with no washing up!
Today's outing produced this.....
This is the third time we've been to this place, I think it's the Filipino version of TGIF back in the states...Bixby's
First, Garlic Tuna for the wife, she said it was good, but for me wildly overcooked.
I got a very overpriced burger...
It was around 800P (510B), which oddly enough is a bit expensive here.
"I was a good student. I comprehend very well, OK, better than I think almost anybody," - President Trump comparing his legal knowledge to a Federal judge.
^ Nice.
The price doesn't matter so long as you enjoyed yourselves!
^ Absolutely steaming.
You simply cannot beat blood and guts for lunch, the dog got the gut. Nice un-dried dates from the tree after.
A place called 'Sriwara Bistro and Cafe'. Only about 1 km up the road from my place, and looked good when it opened a year ago. Gave it a couple of weeks and tried a lunch there. Disaster. Nice place but not organised. M'Sahib was getting her main course and I hadn't had a sniff of my starter. Cut, paid for what we'd had, and left. Anyway, today we ventured back again.
Very good. I like the menu, you can go as up or down as you want, snack or something more special. Decent selection of drinks.
Trying to edit and scratch the facial details out, failed miserably. Beer was OK though.
For me a starter of Hokkaido scallops, Quails eggs, pork and Thai stuff. Spicy but good.
M'Sahib having a bunch of seafood, including large prawns in noodles, and quite a well carved fried fish.
I opted for a rack of lamb with a pesto crust for main. Very good again.
Delivered exactly how I wanted it, on the more medium than rare side.
Rarely eat dessert though joined M'Sahib with a double espresso and a brandy.
Don't leave home without one.....
^ Nice, looks well put together, i'm saving up.
That looks spectacular PAG!
A very nice from me PAG!
Great pics.
Good to see teakdoors best cook letting others do the cooking. The Hokkaido scallops look great, it all looks good actually, bet your glad you gave it another try
Out for a haircut this morning, so an excuse to roll onto a lunch with M'Sahib. Rain holding off, and not too hot so opted for Rustic and Blue by the Sea, a restaurant with a decent view in Rawai.
I opted for a Caesar Salad (poor choice, far too large brioche bread not toasted enough, and an achovie dressing that was far too salty), followed by pan fried salmon with a pasta and pesto sauce (that was fine).
M'Sahib went for a kind of Gumbo (supposed to include sausage meat which they removed for her), and a pumpkin cake for dessert.
