Ok, Topper I'm not convinced as I've never gone to the philippines for the food. but if there's some kinda variety of food cookery going on in the provinces then that can only be a good thing. For Filipinos and foreigners? D Filipino diaspora certainly get around and perhaps they've gleaned some culinary ideas. I'm guessing that the corned beef in a can is still on the menu though?
Ham salad and some prawn cocktail walkers crisps.
Dip it in mayo and I'd be allover it.
And an ale.
Followed by another ale.
Nice sandwich armstrong!
Today we visited the "Cold Room" for lunch. I added a link to their facebook page for BLD....
We started off with waygu beef chunks with a dipping sauce. The tenderness of the beef was amazing, as it should be.
The wife had the pasta Arrabbiata, which was a giant portion. I thought it was a bit under seasoned, but we brought the leftovers home for a light dinner and after sitting for awhile, the sauce was quite spicy.
Damn tasty stuff

Looks good Tops, but it seems the beef was just slightly overcooked.
Damn
Here was I thinking the province was only Adobo, adobo, pancit, more pancit washed down with a hot bottle of redhorse, The food scene has really changed,
