Are you telling me peas aren't grown in tins?!?!?!?

Nothing frozen is ever as flavorful or nutritious than fresh food. That is the stupidest thing I have ever heard. The peas I would grow in my garden are like nothing you get out of a can or freezer. Eat the peas right out of the pod and they are sweet and delicious.

On further reflection, I seem to recall some abomination called 'marrowfat peas". Might be them (and tinned).

I think they might have been - and they are one of my favourite peas.

Although, in fairness, I would have probably preferred baked beans or extra gravy in the absence of proper mushy peas anyway...

That may be true if it's right out of your garden, but not for produce that has to be imported or transported. Fresh frozen retains the nutrients, compared to produce that degrades over the time it takes to transport it.

I asked for it just under 1 inch thick, she shouted out to her hubby 2 a little bit thick and I looked behind me to see if Hal and Socal were in the sampe shop.

It's effing raw as those tomatoes and no gravy on the 6 frozen chips!

I fear Nammers has drifted to the dark side

I had a light steak and chips lunch today also..

Not raw, those chips are huge and actually for me the steak was not blue enough, the caper and pepper butter was spot on - i have lived in the dark for years

It is not raw you chav it is perfectly cooked, and a good steak should never be ruined with fucking gravy. That is a travesty.

Disgusting! Cooked to your usual shoe leather, and you should never need something like ketchup with a steak.

One week ago today we had a lovely lunch in Spain.

    Peppers stuffed with cod

    Really good mussels.
    Lunch ... the second course-20240818-132718-jpg

Seafood paella. I often find paella over salted but this was one of the best we've had.

    Crema Catalana to finish

And about 5 jugs of sangria.

    It was still cooking.

By the time we tucked in it was drier than snubby's minge.

    ^^
had a blinding Crema Catalana last week at Barcelona Gaudi.
    handy for cowboy too.
there's not a tapas bar in the Barrio Gothika with more dodgy massage joints and knocking shops with the distance you can launch an albondingas.

Spanish food is shockingly overpriced in Bangers, but that place is reasonable, if not as nice a place to sit or as stuffed with Japanese MILF totty as El Tapeo.

    10-20% off on Eatego too.
    we won it at wemberlee
we on it in gay paree...

We were in Girona and it was a Catholic holiday when we arrived.

I love a cortado of a morning so had a lomo con queso for breakfast while she slept.

After 3 and a half years working in Colombia, my Spanish stands up.
