^ You don't want to do the peanut butter thing with a cat mate... the tongue is way too rough.

Fired up the BBQ for the first time in the year. Crisped up some pork cumberland sausages. Oven cooked a spinach, mashed potato, tomato sauce and bacon bits concoction. Was alright.

Cumberlands look almost exactly like what are called bratwurst here.

    Yes.
    Charred nicely.
Actually, the accompanying mashers/bacon concoction looks edible, even passable.

    Well done, BIP!!

In anticipation that within the next couple of weeks, I may be required to wear something other than sports shorts and tee shirt, I'm on a diet. However, wandered into the kitchen this morning and knocked up a red lentil curry with spiced basmati rice for M'Sahib. Tried a spoonful, good. The raw Chinese cabbage leaves are her idea, making small parcels with the rice/curry.

Basmati, spiced with a cinnamon stick, cardamon pods, cloves, and cumin seeds. Also has thinly sliced onion.

    ^ One of my favourites!

That looks like pork mince? Perfection for me would be with beef mince.

    Very nice indeed.
