I have to say I have one and when we use it it is strictly for kneading the dough. Then it is transferred into a bread pan and put in the regular oven. I don't like the crust on all four sides the way a bread maker bakes it.

    ^ you are right there.

On the dough cycle, making some hot dog buns for later

Although I don't think I've used enough yeast having just googled the difference between dry active and the instant that I've used.

    We shall see

But only to knead the bread... something he could do in a food processor with dough hooks for a fraction of the price.

Do you reckon this is enough rise?

    Oh well, time will tell.
Broke the dough up into 3 parts, then those 3 parts into another 3 doughballs, then squashed them all into circles, then stretched and rolled them into this final shape...

Covered them with a tea towel and this time in half an hour Rodney, they will hopefully rise again like Jesus

Here's the recipe for anyone interested

Hot Dog Bun Recipe for the Bread Machine | Bread Machine Recipes
The stroker wrote write at the very end, to use more instant yeast.

They look about the same as mine, at the same stage I reckon

And here's how they should turn out in around half an hours time...

    Touch wood

Hey if they don't turn out can we all leave a bad review on her page?

Appears that you might be getting the hang of it, Dills.

Venture out and start experimenting with whole grain, rye, or sough dough recipes.

Have you? Rhetorical question of course, just another example of some fuckwit wannabe pretending to know something when he doesn't

    Pickled hot dogs? WTF...

Think I'll stick to Ball Park franks...all beef. Or Nathan's.

    Buns do look good though.
