Naaaah. Its dry like yours. I drop the chicken wings into a big zip loc bag, pour in a good bit. Seal bag up and then work it all around. Then open up and repeat again. Then let sit in fridge.
As I noted above I add more as they are on the grill for the first few flips on the Q.
If you think it is heavy salt, I'd taste test some to see before tossin on the wings. If that salty might not be so good to have alot.
