Thread: Chitty's meat feast served with a homemade vegetable puree.

Tonight I shall be dinning like a king !

Sirloin steak with lamb chops and home made mint sauce.

A mixed vegetable puree of Swede, turnup, carrot and potato.

On with the show....

Nice pic Chits, so far so good...

The aroma of home grown mint and cooking meats is filling the air...

Making sure the fat is crispy....

Time to blend up the puree...

Puree was a tad pretentious, even the dog turned his nose up at it..

I fucking hate puree's in restaurants,its lazy bastards chefs food

Unless its a carvery or you're skint and finding food in the freezer I disagree with mixed meats making a meal.
Each to their own but the usual penalty for mixing foods is crucifixion.
Or if in Wales its impalement as they cannot spell croosisifection.

Woulda been much more practical to simply rough cut mash the veges, presenting itself better than what appears to be something akin to baby poop on a plate.
