None of this pouring boiling water over them malarkey, let's do it right!

An idiot's guide so pay attention Reachy and Teachy...

Put in a pan of boiling water the right way around..

Add the sachets of spice and all things nice.

Bring to the boil and stir 10 times to the right and 3 to the left.

Still paying attention Reach n Teach?

    Good boys!

This is the tricky part now, add any extras you like into the mix.
I had opted for a couple of slices of pizza, a kfc leg and a raw onion but some toe rag has knocked my pizza.

Putting all the sachet contents in ?
    Madness.
About 10 % is enough if you want to avoid the dry horrors.

Does anyone actually like Mama? I like the idea of it when hungover but am soon reminded why it doesn't feature on the weekly menu.

I don't eat that sort of thing (yea was going to say "crap'') while here in the states but it ain't bad if you get some decent shrimp and drop it in, boil it well, and crack a Beer Lao to watch the sunrise over the Mekong. Great way to cure a hangover, Trust me.......then go fishing.

...and not a very healthy/substantial food product either.
How the masses become conditioned in such a manner.

Mama, and their distant dried processed noodle cousins [the world over], are usually reserved to be consumed by lower classes.

True, everybody in your village has some in the house. But its a staple when Thai's travel abroad. Those MaMa noodles do have the taste Thai's crave. Better than 99% of the Thai restaurants abroad.

But indeed loaded with chemicals and MSG. Thai kids love to eat them with no water, put the spices in stir it up and eat it like potato chips.

I would take a Mama ground pork over any cup noodles in the states. There is some taste. Once a month say?

Let's try and keep it Thai related

The only nutrition in the soup was the beef strips I added.

Ok once a month as a snack like AO said.
