    And apple crumble.

The kind of stuff most people made when they were about seven and felt quite proud of themselves.

Vegemite and cheese, with HP Sauce for dipping
But in general I can't be bothered with a machine, the clean up is not worth the effort, I find it easier in a pan. Or just get Cafe Benne do all the hard work given that they tend to be my hangover food

You don't seriously think that the first person to grill cheese was American?

    A mohawk, maybe?

It could care the fuck less it is you Brits that cling on to the trivial shit. I just know it was not invented in the 17th century in England. The sandwich was but it was not toasted.

Bacon, cheese, salami, baked beans, tabasco sauce. Toasted sarnies are indeed great drunk food, and just hope someone else gets to clean it all up in the morning.

Yanks call Tuna Melt, add some cheese. A staple of any old roadside diner or drive in. Bet Snub's bar does a nice one.

The combination of molten cheese, and magma-hot tomato is no joke. I think we've all woken up in the morning following a boozy night c/w late night cheese toastie, with burst blisters in our mouths.. Feels like you've got meat stalactites hanging from the roof of your mouth. Ouch.

You're not meant to clean it, the decades old hardened cheese is what gives it it's mystifyingly delicious taste.

    Getting hungry now.

Reckon will do something like this with a few icy cold beers over the weekend.

    A Jaffle Iron.

Mum had a round one. Used on the stove.

Jaffles filled with baked beans ... staple.

I wonder if Tom (TC) has had the pleasure?

    Also for camping ...
