Nah it's all good... It was vacuum sealed but I opened it and ate about a 1/3

Was hand delivered from Sth Africa so no idea on the details sorry.

Perfect for those late night munchies. Crackers topped with cheese, avocado, a bit of salsa and again jalapeno peppers. Wash it down with a glass of whole milk and it's sleepy time.

That's what I'm talking about.

Now I'm not into insects but this guy was. I watched him eat a grasshopper about as big as he was.
Needless to say their isn't much to do sometimes at the house in Laos but a slug of King Robert a swill of BeerLao and sit back and watch the wildlife.

I almost miss the place sometimes.

I love a bit of durian but have never thought of mixing it with other stuff to make a snack... that looks great... please could you explain the accompaniments?

Smoked salmon, cream cheese and beetroot relish oatcakes with a side of pickled onions.

The Winnie the Pooh themed ice cream stand is downtown Pakse. It's kinda cool and worth a visit if in the area. Cool as in they do keep the a/c on. And the joint is clean so that's a plus in my book.
