I'm more of an icypoo guy.
No, nothing to do with the frozen tundra or saint Alfonzo's pancake breakfast.

^ Vientiane if I'm not mistaken. I remember walking past it and noticing how busy it was inside.

Just had some dried boerewors and some biltong dropped off.

That'll do me nicely for the weekends rugby, please and thank you:

Perfect for those late night munchies. Crackers topped with cheese, avocado, a bit of salsa and again jalapeno peppers. Wash it down with a glass of whole milk and it's sleepy time.

Now I'm not into insects but this guy was. I watched him eat a grasshopper about as big as he was.
Needless to say their isn't much to do sometimes at the house in Laos but a slug of King Robert a swill of BeerLao and sit back and watch the wildlife.

I almost miss the place sometimes.

The Winnie the Pooh themed ice cream stand is downtown Pakse. It's kinda cool and worth a visit if in the area. Cool as in they do keep the a/c on. And the joint is clean so that's a plus in my book.

May be one there as well. If in VTE the night market along the Mekong is worth a gander. You'll find ice cream and all kinds of things there.

One girl was irritated when I pointed out that I could buy the same nicknack for a lot less in Pakse.

She was like go away when I pointed this out to some Europeans.

This was down in Si Pan Don. I'll see if I can dig up a pic that comes to mind about the place.
